It’s A Gingham World

Best known for its iconic Original Crinkle™ fabrication, introducing a new fabric marked a significant moment for Hunza G – one that demanded a campaign with distinct personality and cultural relevance.

American actress Luna Blaise was cast as the face, selected for her global resonance and engaged social presence, while creative duo Fanny & Rory were commissioned to art direct the shoot with a tongue-in-cheek lens. The creative direction combined rich film-shot stills with complementary vignettes, all styled around a clear theme for each colourway, deliberately subverting the fabric’s twee associations. The unifying concept: the unexpected things you can do in your gingham. The output was a playful yet elevated narrative that delivered personality and wit, and the launch video became the brand’s best-performing post to date.

The launch was amplified via strategic VIP gifting — featuring a custom mini tote — and social content with Simi & Haze. A dinner at Notting Hill’s Canteen re-engaged the brand’s local network, with attendees including Raffey Cassidy, Julia Hobbs, and Lucy Williams. Paid retail partnerships and supplementary assets from adjacent shoots extended impact across key touchpoints.
